Residential Fire Safety


Definitions  The United States, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). In 2015, Home Structure Fire accidents caused, 78% of Civilian deaths and 71% of the injuries. The investigated structures include, Family homes, Apartments, Town houses, Row houses and Modular homes. The survey established Cooking, Smoking, Heating Equipment, Intentional Fires, Lighting Equipment and Electrical Distributions as some of the common culprits of residential fires. However, certain factors were identified peculiar in defining the frequency and severity of fires. These peculiarities include, Geographical locations and Weather systems.
